چکیده

In this paper, the bandwidth density of misaligned free space optical interconnects (FSOIs) system with and without coding under a fixed bit error rate is considered. particular, we study effect using correction codes various codeword lengths on misalignment tolerance FSOIs in presence higher order modes. Moreover, paper demonstrates use fill factor detector array as design parameter to optimize communication. The numerical results demonstrate that improves significantly improvement highly dependent used length code rate. addition, clearly show optimum values achieve maximum system.

High Bandwidth Dynamically Reconfigurable Architectures Using Optical Interconnects

Optoelectronic interconnects are one means of alleviating the ever growing communications bottlenecks associated with silicon electronics. In chip-to-chip and board-to-board interconnection, the bandwidths presently (if experimentally) available far outstrip what is predicted possible in electronics until into the next decade. Such high bandwidth possibilities demand a rethink of conventional c...

Optical Interconnects in Systems

Future enhancement of system performance will decreasingly rely on reduction in transistor dimensions. Rather, performance gains will increasingly come from improved hardware and software architectures and emerging technologies such as optical interconnects which provide a new design-space for system designers. Bandwidth trading under misaligned objectives: Decentralized measurement-based control

This paper studies the interplay between a profit-maximizing network and a number of users competing for the finite bandwidth on each link. In our setting, the objectives of the network and the users are ‘misaligned’, in that the prices that optimize the network’s profit do not maximize the aggregate utility of the users. The links set the prices for bandwidth and the users react to them by rev...

Loss and Bandwidth Studies on Multimode Polymer Waveguide Components for On-Board High-Speed Optical Interconnects

 Abstract—Optical interconnects play a key role in the implementation of high-speed short-reach communication links within high-performance electronic systems. Multimode polymer waveguides in particular are strong candidates for use in passive optical backplanes as they can be cost-effectively integrated onto standard PCBs. Various optical backplanes using this technology and featuring a large...
